Pros and cons of working at BDO New Zealand

Pros

  • The culture at BDO is great, as there are lots of different social activities that you can participate in throughout the year.

  • The support provided by the people around me.

  • Flexitime works well for me...start earlier in the day...and leave at a good time to still have time after work.

  • Many learning opportunities, consistent training, on-time feedback, and encouragement."

  • The office here is very big and has heaps of facilities available such as a coffee machine, multiple microwaves, fridges, and toastie makers.

Cons

    • Workflow inconsistencies—being light on work.

    • Sometimes it felt as if there wasn't enough training before getting thrown into it.

    • Small office space on busy days.

    • Time feels a little micromanaged.

    • Office temperature is never right.
